I started with Homeless Connections in February 2014 as a house supervisor. because I was eager to combine my personal, academic and professional experiences in helping members of my community. I was promoted to case manager in 2015. As a case manager, I am able to assist a dynamic and diverse clientele in recognizing and overcoming the barriers that prevent individuals and families from securing housing and employment without assistance.
I am a summa cum laude graduate of The Ohio State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts in History, with a focus on contemporary North American history. My academic background has allowed me to understand the bigger picture of homelessness, poverty, unemployment, and disability within American society. My work at Homeless Connections allows me to place that understanding within the context of my community and the experiences of individuals and families who are experiencing homelessness. I am extremely dedicated to the mission of Homeless Connections and look forward to serving this population for years to come.
Outside of work, I am passionate about homeschooling my children, working in my gardens, canoeing, hiking with my dogs and spending quality time with my family and friends.
