After more than 20 years in law enforcement, it is easy to say I had worked with many persons who were less fortunate than me. My career, even as a CIT (Crisis Intervention trained) officer, allowed me to help some but not others and often times, not enough. Now in my role doing outreach, I am able to help those less fortunate in a way I wasn’t able to before. I find it very rewarding to be able to do so.
My wife and I have two adopted children who are both in high school. We stay very involved in their lives and are thankful every day for all the joy they have brought into our lives. In addition to the kids’ sports, soccer and track, we like to camp as a family and have traveled from Mount Rushmore to Washington DC making childhood memories for the boys and ourselves. I also like to hunt, fish, golf, boat, and snow ski.
